Watson Pond covers roughly 53 acres in Otis, MA,
with the Massachusetts Turnpike to the north and Lee-Westfield Road to the south. A railroad bed splits off a 3.2 acre portion of the pond to the south. The
pond was created by damming at south end, at Lee-Westfield Road, impounding
approximately 177 acre-feet (7.7 million cubic feet, or 220 million liters) of
water when full. |
